The Day We Found Freedom, Indonesia Independence Day
17th of August, 2018. That day marks the 73rd anniversary of Indonesia, proclaimed by our proclamators, Ir. Soekarno and Moh. Hatta. Known nationwide as a day of commemoration, flag hoisting ceremony, fun competitions and many more, this year’s independence day is celebrated in many ways.
Some people celebrate with traditional Independence Day contests, namely tug of wars, eating crackers, sack racing, etc. While others hold events such as musical performances and fashion shows. Like many other schools, Tunas Bangsa also celebrated this year’s Independence day with joy and pride.
Before the competition was held, the school had held a flag hoisting ceremony and the national anthem had been sung. This year, it is a little different from it was of previous years. WHY? Because we have a team that is very awesome to carry a flag for the ceremony, they are flag raisers or PASKIBRA. They are junior high school students from grade 7, 8 and Grade 9 who had just practiced within one week to prepare this. We are proud of your great effort. 😀
This year, three competitions were held, namely racing marbles, insert the nail into the bottle and ball cooperation.
This year’s celebration, as usual, has brought smiles and joy to the students and teachers in Tunas Bangsa.
Happy Independence Day Indonesia! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
