Graduation Day Sekolah Tunas Bangsa 2017
Finally!! Sekolah Tunas Bangsa again superbly held another its annual celebration for twelve graders, the Graduation Day. It was a joyous moment not only for the twelve graders, but also teachers and parents. “We” outpoured our happiness and appreciation to the success of all twelve graders for their wonderful achievements in the national state examination.
This year Graduation Day celebration is a bit different from last years. The occasion which was held in Mercure Hotel, on 12 May 2017, was the first themed graduation day. That is the difference from the last years. As being confirmed by the Coordinator of Graduation Day 2017, Ibu Kurnia Madeliaty, Sekolah Tunas Bangsa never applied any themes for its graduation day before; and this year was the first time. “Unforgettable Graduation” was the selected theme that represented the students’ wonderful achievements of being the 1st rank for social major and 3rd rank for science major in Province Level. The concept of formal and luxurious celebration was applied to this theme which could be seen in the decoration, dress code and the procession in the event.
Moreover, according to Ibu Kurnia, another distincitive feature of this year graduation day was in terms of its main events. There were three additional agenda added to this event : poem recital, graduates’ pledge reading, and students’ dedication to teachers. These three agenda were selected with the consideration of augmenting the wisdom of the essence of Sekolah Tunas Bangsa Graduation Day
